“Treatments had failed everywhere — including the Mayo Clinic.”
…disorders and hormonal imbalances had begun to dominate my life after treatments had failed everywhere—including the Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Lee’s careful evaluation started me on a plan that finally has my energy level improving. In conjunction with medication changes, he started me on IV nutrition therapy and IV detox that has changed my life! For the first time in years I can get through a work day, and I’ve even been able to start exercising again. I only wish I had found Dr. Lee sooner!

“I haven’t felt this good since my 20s!”
When I first visited Dr. Lee, I was 39 years old and my symptoms were: extreme fatigue, depression, insomnia, anxiety and severe memory issues. I had gone from …
being a top salesperson for a decade in biotech sales, to losing my job and having to sell my home.
I was sleeping 18-19 hours a day. I couldn’t work. I didn’t even have the energy to take a daily shower. I cried and had anxiety attacks almost daily.
Before meeting Dr. Lee, I had gone to four different doctors who ran dozens of tests and told me I was “fine.” I had given up hope. During my first visit with Dr. Lee, he sat with me for more than an hour. He took a detailed history of my health—beginning when I was 15 years old. He listened carefully and promised that we would figure it out and that I would feel better. I felt hopeful for the first time in years. He started me on bioidentical hormones twice daily, had me give up all foods and drinks with “diet” chemicals in them, and had me start getting an IV twice a week.
Now, I am exercising for the first time in years. Most days I don’t even take a nap. My depression and anxiety have subsided. I even occasionally win at the game of Memory against my seven-year-old nephew! I haven’t felt this good since my 20s!
I have made it my mission to tell as many people as possible about Dr. Lee. My mom and several of my friends now see him. They have gone to him for an assortment of reasons, and they have all had similar success stories. Dr. Lee and his team gave me my life back, and for that, I will never be able to fully express my gratitude.
We had the best time of our lives — with energy to spare!”
As a breast cancer survivor, I started coming to Dr. Lee six months after my last chemo. Dr. Lee did extensive research concerning cancer, and even presented me …
with a PowerPoint presentation. Now, after several urine tests, blood work and intravenous vitamins, my health is constantly improving.
My husband, Chuck, has been a patient of Dr. Lee’s for the last ten years for his diabetes. Dr. Lee continues to treat Chuck for his diabetes and now, with the administration of growth hormone, Dr. Lee has been able to significantly decrease the amount of insulin Chuck uses. Plus, he now has a lot more energy and feels great.
A few months ago, we went to Las Vegas to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary. Before we left we received our intravenous vitamins, and we had the best time of our lives—with energy to spare! Thanks Dr. Lee for caring about our health and helping us to feel great and age gracefully.

“I’ve been given a fresh, healthy life at 40.”
At 39, I considered myself to be in great shape with a very active lifestyle and a consistent routine of running,
… working out four times a week with a personal trainer, playing in team sports and following a diet I thought to be healthy.
However, I had noticed over the last couple of years that I was slowly gaining weight and losing some of my “youthful energy.” I didn’t pay much attention to the changes and just attributed them to getting older. But then, in November 2009, I was at our family doctor for a routine checkup and happened to read an article about low testosterone. I asked my doctor about it and she said we could do a blood test.
When I went back in two weeks for the results, I was told that my counts were a little low, but my doctor “thought” they were still within normal range. I questioned her about what the level was supposed to be, but she couldn’t give me a confident response.
Because of that unsure response, my wife researched low testosterone on the Internet and urged me to see an endocrinologist. Having recently read a magazine article about Dr. Edwin Lee, she called and scheduled my appointment.
I first saw Dr. Lee in January 2010. I liked him the minute I met him. He diagnosed my symptoms, and then explained how my symptoms were affecting my daily routine and overall health. He asked what my goals were—my personal and physical goals, as well as my overall health goals—and then explained how we could achieve those goals.
As soon as my test results came back and confirmed I had low testosterone, Dr. Lee started treatment to bring my levels up. After a couple of weeks, I started to feel more energy throughout the day, more motivated to push myself even more in the gym and at work, and my overall general health was improving. My wife really took notice of my increase in my energy, as well as my libido, and said I wasn’t as moody as I had been lately.
I never feel like Dr. Lee is simply giving me a prescription; rather, he gives me a detailed road map to my overall health. I have been seeing Dr. Lee for nine months and I’ve already achieved my physical goals for which I’ve been striving most of my life—but could never attain. I have never felt healthier than I do right now. I don’t succumb to illness like before, and I am finally getting a good night’s sleep. Also, my family life has never been better, which I attribute to my improved mood and overall health.
I have never believed in a “magic pill” or shortcut to anything. The only reason I am sharing my experiences now is that I’ve been given a fresh, healthy life at 40. I believe in Dr. Lee because he not only corrected the problems I’ve been having (for who knows how long), but he actually takes interest in my life and goals, and explains how to take advantage of my new health. I have now referred six people to Dr. Lee—and they’re becoming believers as well.
I hope that anyone who questions the way they feel, and desires to perform better, will take Dr. Lee’s advice and change their life.
“There is a big difference between “normal” and “optimal” hormone levels.”
Prior to seeing Dr. Lee, I was struggling with steady weight gain, low body temperature, thinning hair, chronic insomnia, fatigue and debilitating PMS. I am 34 ….
…years old, and had seen several doctors about these issues (before Dr. Lee), none of them recognized that I had a thyroid problem. Although my TSH was only mildly elevated, Dr. Lee’s more thorough testing revealed that I was definitely hypothyroid with low Free T3 and very high Reverse T3.
To correct my problem, he prescribed cytomel (T3 hormone). Due to some other endocrine issues, it took me a while to work my way up to the right dose of cytomel, but my patience paid off! Now I feel much better than I have in years! Unlike many doctors I’ve seen over the years, Dr. Lee keeps up with new research and is willing to think and act beyond conventional medical dogma. He also has a great attitude, emphasizes a healthy lifestyle, and approaches his patients as a partner in their health care.
After working with Dr. Lee for almost two years, it has become obvious to me that there is a big difference between “normal” and “optimal” hormone levels, especially when it comes to quality of life. I really appreciate that Dr. Lee always focuses on optimal.
“I thought my life was over.”
it started happening. Soon, I had lost my job, and my place in college.
During those three years before it all fell apart, drugs and steroids were what held me together. I never knew I would pay for it with the beginning stages of osteopenia, hair loss and gaining almost forty pounds. I started to believe that no one was ever going to help me heal completely. At the last hospital I was in, before seeing Dr. Lee, I remember telling my mom and husband, “No more prednisone or steroids. If I die, then I will let the Lord take me. I am not getting any better, and the drugs are killing me, slowly.”
When I left the hospital that day, I went straight to Dr. Lee. By that time, I had lost almost all my hair to the point my scalp was showing, my whole body was leaking fluids—making it hard to keep my body temperature right —and my skin was so inflamed, red, itchy, swollen and tight that it was difficult to sit, stand or walk. All I had done for the last three years of my life was sit at home crying and depressed—hurting emotionally and physically, with no energy. I didn’t even want to go outside because of how terrible I felt and looked… at age 20!
My first meeting with Dr. Lee was unlike any other doctor appointment I had ever experienced. It was so totally different, I didn’t know what I had got myself into. Yet, I just didn’t feel he could do anything for me because, in the past I had just been passed from doctor to doctor, only to again be told they couldn’t help me, and that I would just half to deal with it.
After talking with Dr. Lee, he immediately determined I had a leaky gut. Then, after extensive blood work, we knew he was right. The testing showed I had a leaky gut, some hormone issues, and was very sensitive to gluten and quite a few other foods.
So, after several months of changing my diet completely, a lot of IV treatments and detoxing, I started noticing some differences in my body. I started getting my energy back, my hair was starting to come back, and every day, my skin was getting better and better. I was so amazed that all this time it was what I was putting in my body that was harming me—so much to the point, I thought I was going to die.
My whole life, all I ever wanted to do is become a nurse and help people. Now, I have undeniably learned that through nutrition, you really can change yourself for the better. I thank God that my mom found Dr. Lee, and that we gave him a chance. He is the best thing that could ever have happened to me. He has helped me so much. He is a very compassionate person, who truly cares about his patients and their health.
Now, after seeing him for a little over a year, my overall whole body is so much better—inside and out. I remember in the beginning, when I didn’t think anything would heal me, that Dr. Lee told me he was going to get me better, and that I’m like a radio who just needs to be tuned the right way. After hearing that, I knew I was in the right place. His staff was also very helpful and resourceful, and very good at making me feel important. Even when I knew how awful I looked, there was no judgment—unlike other doctors’ offices I had been to.
I thank God, Dr. Lee, my husband and family, and my friends and church for supporting me all the way. Prayer is a powerful thing, and optimal health—as I am learning from Dr. Lee—is also very important for my body to live a healthy life. Thank you so much Dr. Lee for giving me my life back!
